Origin & Craft: Hand-loomed in the historic weaving town of Maheshwar (Madhya Pradesh) with a weaving tradition that dates back to the 18th century. 

Fabric & Blend: A blend of fine silk warp and cotton weft (often ~50% silk / 50% cotton) giving both a sheen and breathable comfort. 

Texture & Feel: Lightweight yet elegant — easier to drape and comfortable for longer wear than heavy pure silks. Ideal for both festive occasions and day‐wear. 

Dimensions: 5.5 metres and the blouse piece is often included (0.7 metre approx). 

Care Instructions: Recommended dry cleaning for preserving the zari and silk luster; avoid wringing, keep away from harsh sunlight; iron at medium-low.
